How to complain

Email uniaway@opaldale.com with the subject line Complaint.

What to include

  • Your full name and the email or phone number you used with us.
  • What happened, and when.
  • The name of anyone at Uniaway you dealt with, if you know it.
  • Any emails, messages or documents that help explain the problem.
  • What you would like us to do to put things right.

What happens next

  • Acknowledgement: we will confirm we have received your complaint within 5 working days.
  • Full response: we aim to reply in full within 20 working days. If we need longer, we will tell you why and when to expect our reply.

We will look at your complaint fairly, but we can't promise a particular outcome.

If you're not happy with our response

You can ask for your complaint to be reviewed by Mani Singh, Uniaway's Student Advisor. Reply to our response email and ask for a review, explaining why you are not satisfied.

Complaints about a university or education provider

Uniaway does not make admission, scholarship or visa decisions. If your complaint is about a university or other provider (for example, a decision, a course or fees), please use that institution's own complaints process. We are happy to point you to it.

For UK universities, once you have completed the university's own process, you may be able to take your complaint to the Office of the Independent Adjudicator for Higher Education (oiahe.org.uk).

Complaints about your personal data

If your complaint is about how we use your personal data, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Records

We keep a confidential record of complaints and how they were handled, in line with our privacy policy.
