Steps to follow before applying for a visa.
Step 1: English Test:
Take an approved English exam such as IELTS, PTE, or TOEFL.
(We confirm the exact score your chosen college or university requires.)
Step 2: University/College Application:
We help you submit a strong application to secure your Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from a Designated Learning Institution (DLI).
Step 3: Pay Tuition Deposit:
Once accepted, pay the required tuition deposit to confirm your seat and activate your LOA.
Step 4: Gather Financial Proof:
Prepare valid bank statements, sponsor letters, GIC (Guaranteed Investment Certificate), and income documents to show you can support your studies and living expenses.
Step 5: Medical Examination:
Complete your Immigration Medical Exam (IME) at an approved panel physician.
Step 6: Visa Application (Study Permit):
We guide you in submitting your Study Permit application online through IRCC, including biometrics and all required documents.
Step 7: Receive Study Permit Approval:
Once approved, you’ll receive your Port of Entry (POE) Letter which you will present upon arrival in Canada.

Financial Instrument Details
Bank Statement Hold Period: Funds must be proven through statements covering the last four months (120 days) immediately preceding the study permit application.
Source: Funds must be readily accessible, legitimate, and convertible to Canadian Dollars (CAD).
Unacceptable Funds: Jewelry, liquid cash, fixed deposits that cannot be liquidated, and money borrowed from friends or distant relatives are generally not accepted.
Currency: Documents must be in English or French, or accompanied by a certified translation.
Financial Requirement Duration
Application Requirement: You must show funds covering:
Tuition fees for the first year.
The full annual living cost minimum for yourself and all accompanying dependents.
Return transportation costs.
Long-term Stability: The visa officer must be satisfied that the probability of funding for the future years of the program exists, even if only the first year's funds are shown in the bank.
Required Evidence of Financial Support (Sponsorship)
Sponsor: Can be the applicant (self-funded), parents, guardian, or other close relatives.
Sponsor Documentation: If a sponsor is providing the funds, they must submit:
Sponsor's Bank Statements (for the past 4 months).
A signed Letter of Financial Support/Sponsorship Letter (formal declaration of financial commitment).
Proof of the sponsor's Income Source (e.g., proof of employment, business ownership, or tax returns) to demonstrate sustainable income.
Proof of Relationship (e.g., birth certificate, marriage certificate).
Annual Income for Financial Stability (No Fixed Minimum for Student Visa Sponsor)
General Principle: While IRCC does not provide a fixed minimum income for study permit sponsors, the sponsor's income must be sufficient to support the family in the home country AND fund the student's expenses in Canada (tuition + living) without causing undue financial hardship.

Applying for a Letter of Acceptance (LOA)
This is the initial stage where the Canadian educational institution assesses your eligibility.
Academic Transcript: Full academic record of subjects studied, grades, and marks achieved (e.g., transcripts from high school, college, university).
Certificates to Confirm Qualifications: Final completion certificates for all prior education.
Evidence of English Ability: Official scores for IELTS, CELPIP, or other approved tests (required for both admission and the SDS visa stream, if applicable).
Copy of Passport: Bio-data page.
Statement of Purpose (SOP): Essay detailing your academic background, reasons for choosing the course and the specific Canadian institution, and future career goals (crucial for demonstrating genuineness).
Letters of Recommendation (LORs): Typically required for Graduate/Master's programs.
CV/Resume: Required, especially for graduate-level applications.
Application Fees: Proof of payment of the university application fee.
FOR STUDY PERMIT APPLICATION (Post-LOA)
Once the LOA is received, these documents are compiled for submission to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL): A mandatory letter (starting 2024) issued by the respective provincial government, confirming that the student's application has been accounted for under the provincial cap. This must be secured before applying for the study permit.
LOA (Letter of Acceptance): The official, unconditional letter from a Designated Learning Institution (DLI).
Proof of Funds: Financial documentation proving you meet the living expense requirement (CA$22,895 for a single applicant, plus tuition) for the first year.
GIC Certificate: If applying via the Student Direct Stream (SDS), proof of a Guaranteed Investment Certificate of at least CA$20,000.
Proof of Prepaid Fees: Receipts showing payment of first year's tuition (or a significant deposit) and/or on-campus housing (optional, but highly recommended).
